"Hello, your teacher really helped me with my reading and writing. Without his assistance, I was becoming depressed and concerned about my progress." Ben, aged 5.

"Dear Sirs, I must write to thank you for my first lesson with my tutor which I booked through you. My teacher at school is already considering me for advancement to a higher group."
Really, what next? We don't do this. Our letters are genuine and we reproduce them warts and all. The only editing we do is to remove the client, student and tutor details as to publish these would infringe our data protection and privacy policy.
NB the company was known as Stepping Stones Tuition before it renamed itself (after this website) as Anysubject Ltd.
This client had just had his first online Latin-American Spanish lesson and was coming back to book a block of 6.

"My daughter, {withheld}, sat her 'A' levels this summer and at the end of March it became apparent that she would need help in Religious Studies. I contacted you as soon as we realised there was a problem, and you were able to put us in touch with {the tutor}. Although attending once a week for an hour's lesson entailed a three hour round trip at the end of a working day, benefited so much from her sessions with {the tutor} that it was well worth the effort involved.
{The student's} RE department at school were most unsupportive of her, and had succeeded in undermining her completely - it is very disappointing that some teachers can behave so unprofessionally. {The tutor's} calm, reassuring and encouraging approach was exactly what {the student} needed and as a result her confidence was quickly restored. Despite the fact that her own teacher would not give her the opportunity to upon her B and C grades in coursework, she nevertheless passed her 'A' level with the B grade required to study Religious Studies at {withheld}, meaning that she must have performed very well in the examination itself, and proving that she has more aptitude for the subject than her RE teacher at school was prepared to concede.
{The student} was very fortunate to have met {the tutor} at a time when she was at such a low ebb; he is one of those rare teachers who can 'enable' others to achieve, and we have no doubt that his contribution towards {the student's} success in the subject has been significant.

Hi!
Just paid for another 12 x 30 minute lessons.
Initially, {tutor} and I had many technical problems with webcams, internet, etc. After dedicated resolve to sort the technical issues, we have finally managed to get the line to one another much better.
It is by no means perfect but that's just one of the foibles of technology.
As far as the lessons go, {tutor} is brilliant. She prepares the lessons and e-mails them ahead of time for our practice, and then holds an engaging 30 minute session. I find her warm, helpful and excellent with the children.
I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn French, whether a big person or small. She is tremendous. A credit to your team!
This is the ideal way to tutor - from the comforts of your own home. Very effective and cost effective too. Beats heading into traffic, finding parking and the rush involved in this.
It's done at our time, when it suits and the length of lesson we want.
