More teachers are needed to help teach students on a one-to-one basis. Clients normally pay you at the end of every lesson and rates of pay for teachers run to over £20 per hour. Teachers also receive a travel fee on top of that should they be asked to do call-out (about ⅔ of clients ask for teachers to do home visits) - typically £3 to £4 extra paid to teachers for attending within a 5-mile radius around your area. Obviously you set this yourself.
Teachers generally find this work highly enjoyable as their efforts are directly appreciated by both clients and students and attention and disciplinary problems as experienced when teaching in schools are almost unheard of.
