I am a High School English teacher with experience teaching basic as well as advanced reading and writing skills. I have worked with special needs students (learning and emotionally disabled) as well as gifted students (honors and AP). I hold a State of Florida teaching certificate for 6-12 English in addition to a State of Michigan teaching certificate for 7-12 English and History. I graduated with High Honor from Michigan State University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and a cognate in History. While an undergraduate, I studied abroad at the University of London. I have taken 18 post-B.A. credits toward a Master's degree in Curriculum Development. Additionally, I am a member of several educational organizations, including Phi Beta Kappa, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Golden Key National Honor Society, and National Council for Teachers of English. Most importantly, I live for helping students achieve academic success!

Tutor's required rate: $17 - $22 per hour
