I love working with kids and teenagers and genuinely enjoy helping them to reach their learning potential. I am a fun, outgoing and patient type of person. I am very skilled at determining a child's specific needs and building their confidence and skills through an individualized program unique to their learning style. I believe all kids can succeed if given the correct support! I have extensive experience tutoring a variety of grades and subjects. I have privately tutored children from ages 4 to 14 in phonics, reading, English and math, including Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. I also worked as a Center Director for Educational Centers for three years as a tutor and manager.

I most recently tutored for the Reading Revolution program for under-privileged children in San Diego. As a Center Director, I managed a center of 100 children, tutoring children of all ages and cultures in all areas, conferencing with parents and assessing children. I have also worked as a tester, where I administered a variety of tests to determine a child's basic skill level and learning style.

Tutor's stated fees - $19 to $22 per hour depending on level.
