Calling all Pet Lovers! Calling all Pet Owners! by: Leaming L Chee

If you have ever had a pet then you will know just how much pleasure they can give you. To be loved without condition or ulterior motive is a wonderful experience that can be experienced to its fullest extent every time you are reacquainted with your pet. Even if you've only been absent for a few minutes, they will still greet you with genuine enthusiasm. It's consistent too. You could walk out that door and come back in and be greeted with love. I know for myself, if I am feeling sad or down, just looking at my pets faces makes me smile. My yellow lab wiggles her butt when she sees me and makes me laugh every time. My Pembroke Corgi smiles and jumps up and down with glee.

I learned Reiki for them. Reiki keeps them in balance and actually heals. My dog has canine hip dysplasia but with Reiki, she can still run up down the stairs. I have seen Reiki heal her leg when she had chewed it down to the skin when she had been so anxious. Reiki has helped my Corgi with her allergies and anxieties. Giving my pets Reiki is a way that I show them how much I love them.

It's just another level of loving them. When I learned Reiki, I could not wait to try it on my own pets. After seeing how well my own pets responded, I also give my mainecoon cat Reiki as Reiki being performed on a dogwell, I thought it would be a great thing to give Reiki to other animals.

If your pet has any kind of health problem, Reiki will help it. Let me tell you what Reiki is. Animals have minds, emotions and a will. It can be used as a treatment for relaxation as well as a tool for releasing negative emotions and limitations. Just like a massage. If you go to a high end spa, you will see Reiki as one of the options. Reiki is not a form of religion. For dying animals, Reiki is a gentle way to provide comfort to your pet and also reassurance to the owner.

Animals respond faster than people and positive results are often seen in a shorter period of time. Why, because animals don't have as much baggage as us people. Reiki will never hurt your pet. Reiki isn't uncomfortable or scary. Reiki does not replace visits to the vet but works well in conjunction with them. Treatments are done either hands-on (which is like a gentle massage) or at a distance.

In my personal opinion, distant healing treatments work very well on animals. I was working with a golden retriever who lives up in Washington that had Horner's Syndrome and I live in California. I gave him Reiki to the day he passed away. He lived a full life. Depending on your pet's situation more than one treatment may be needed.
