The tutors advertising in this section are freelance tutors. They do not work for www.anysubject.com so if you engage one of them through their link here, you will be contracting with them direct and should act accordingly. There is considerable advice about what to do on our FAQ's page - www.anysubject.com/faq.asp - but if you follow our few simple instructions you should be fine. Please note that we cannot accept liability or responsibility for the actions of these tutors and no guarantee of standard or fitness for the subjects and levels offered should be construed. As a minimum you are advised to ask freelance tutors for proof of identity, a CV, a former client you can approach and a letter from them for you to keep confirming that they are responsible for their own Income Tax and National Insurance. Please remember that tutors may not have told their '9 to 5' employers that they tutor in the evenings so please seek permission from the tutor before calling anyone. All respectable tutors will expect to be chaperoned while they are with minors - this means an adult of your choice within earshot but not actually sitting in on the lesson as that can make learning much more difficult for the student. Should you be particularly happy or unhappy with a tutor, do let us know at feedback@anysubject.com so that we can offer a rating system for other clients, perhaps. If you are unhappy, you need to take this up with the tutor. Please do tell us but do not look to us for compensation as we offer these tutors solely as would a directory. If a tutor is proven to be operating in a way which we deem to be unacceptable, they are aware we can and will remove their advert. We hope you find this service of use.
