Terms and conditions: A deposit equal to 10% of the course value shall be paid on booking and the client understands and accepts that the ‘cooling off’ period will be waived as work will commence sourcing tutors almost immediately. Full payment shall be due not less than 2 weeks before the course commences. Where there is less than 2 weeks between the time of booking and the course commencing, full payment shall be required with the booking. In the event of payment not being received on or before 2 weeks before the course start date, the deposit shall be forfeited. In the event that a client cancels the course the following scale of refunds shall be made: Between booking and 2 weeks before the course starts – loss of deposit. Between 2 weeks before and the course start date – 75% of the course cost refunded After the course has started – 50% of the unused lesson value refunded. The exceptions being: Where Anysubject Ltd has failed to find a tutor or tutors who can accommodate the client’s reasonable scheduling requirements in which case the client will be refunded all payments made to date or, should lessons have commenced, the proportion of unused fees remaining. Where the tutor has failed to perform in a satisfactory manner (see below) in which case the client shall suspend lessons and notify Anysubject no later than the following working day. Anysubject’s maximum liability in this instance shall be the cost of the previous day’s lessons prior to suspension. The decision to refund the unused lessons, the defective lessons or to replace the tutor and make good with further lessons is entirely in the hands of Anysubject Ltd. In the event of a complaint, Anysubject Ltd undertakes to investigate fully and impartially but the final decision as to whether the complaint is justified or not rests with Anysubject Ltd. No refund of any sort shall be forthcoming where the tutor has been rejected for reasons of age, race, creed or gender nor where the client has asked the tutor to make modifications to ‘marked’ work – ie to directly and materially alter work the student is submitting as their own. The client agrees to pay the tutor his or her travel fee no less frequently than at the end of every session. In the event of a client not paying this to the tutor, Anysubject Ltd reserves the right to reduce the course length by sufficient time to make the travel payment direct to the tutor. As is normal for our tuition no specific lesson materials are provided although individual tutors may give hand-outs etc if they feel that it assists the student's tuition. The course is not transferable to others nor is it redeemable for cash. Any subsequent tuition ordered by the client or the student will be at the prevailing rates as published on our website at the time of that booking. We review our pricelist annually on 1st September although Special Offers regularly appear. The foregoing in no way affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
