cheese.
Men are usually lost for an answers regarding what a woman looks for
in a man. Today's woman is under no obligation to accept a particular
partner or was effectively compelled to respond favourably to the first
man who showed her any interest. Nowadays, she will be proactive and
look for particular qualities and characteristics in a man before she
begins a steady relationship or lets him into her heart.
The first priority for many women is love. If she feels loved and
appreciated then everything else falls into place. However, the only way
a woman can judge if a man is going to love her beyond the first year of
the relationship - ie when the novelty has worn off - is a bit tricky.
Some women judge the ability of a man to love by how much attention he
pays her, perhaps measured by the frequency of his phone calls to her or
the material gifts he presents her with. Simply put, women look for men
who can love them regardless of the situation.
Women also look for security. A woman will judge a man’s ability to
protect her against physical and emotional harm. She is also looking to
decide if the man is likely to discard her. A woman will also look for
characteristics that demonstrate a man’s propensity to provide care and
be faithful. Women generally look for men who do not fear commitment and
will keenly observe any signs of a man's failure in this respect. If a
man does not speak of a future together, children or long-term
investments, the woman would be well-advised to give him a wide berth.
The modern woman wants a man who will challenge her. Many women seek men
who can 'trump' them either financially or physically. This gives the
women a yardstick through which they can measure their own
accomplishments. The man should be strong in purpose and a decision
maker. Physical strength is one of the least traits that women will
admit to look for in men, yet deep down, most women want a man who is
healthy, strong and is a real representation of masculinity.
Funny and witty men are also on most women’s search list. No woman wants
to end up with an extremely boring man in the house. They want to be
assured that their futures will be enjoyable and there is no way a man
who cannot start or sustain a good conversation can do that. Women also
look for men who are enthusiasts particularly if it relates to common
interests. Ultimately, women are looking for companions with whom to
spend their lives.
Positive male body language often draws women towards men whom they
perceive as being confident and enterprising particularly if supported
by self-confidence and a genuine demeanour. Although these preferences
differ between individual women, the bottom line is that women want
security, love, care and devotion. However, no matter how obvious the
answers are, men will still ask the same timeless question and wonder
what a woman looks for in a man.
